bird bird bird's the word

the roosters are still crowing even though the sun's been up for at least an hour. the husband's pet birds are happily eating the bread we stole from the restaurant last night. we work up at about 5:30 am to a thunderstorm, perhaps the continuation of the one we had starting at dinner last night. it rained quite a lot yesterday but we still got plenty of sun and swimming in. hopefully we're going to the beach, unless it keeps raining. we're also scheduled to go on a sunset cruise today since it's our 10th anniversary. it's still hard to believe it's been that long...
