tale of the day: carded @ target

how hilarious is that?

they sell wine in target here and on thursday night, i decided that my throbbing head would be best served by a combo deal of good old fashioned pain relieving pinot grigio.

well, the target cashier seemed to think that that was the wrong prescription for someone so juvenile. so i got carded.

the best part? not only could she not pronounce ontario or have the slightest idea where it is, she was blown away by the fact i'm closer to 40 than 20.

not sure how young she thought I was but it frightens me that at my ripe old age, they still think I am a kid.
