if you've been watching the news, you've certainly learned that where i'm currently residing is getting more than it's fair share of tornados, thunderstorms and flash flooding.

and while i'm sure the plants, grass and trees are grateful for the moisture, it's a bit disconcerting for those of us used to weather that's a bit more solid and cold.

that's why i thank my office buddy betsy for hooking me up with weatherbug.com -- a great site that lets you download a widget for your computer that chirps when there is a tornado watch/warning or any other kind of storm warning for your zip code. not only is it helpful, it's darn cute.

check it out and let me know what you think. makes me a whole less nervous...
