briefs: the series (parental discretion is advised)

ok, before you have a look at the first episode of this animated series created by 2 of my former toronto-based colleagues, you need to understand that:
1) it's a satire based on their personal experiences in advertising
2) it may be offensive to some in our business since it pokes fun at advertising stereotypes like excessive drinking, creative directors that don't work, internships that last forever for no pay
3) there is a bit of cartoon gore, men in tighty-whiteys and mistreatment of both interns and account executives

if that's all ok with you and you enjoy shows like south park, you'll enjoy briefs: the series. if you know the creators, you'll probably enjoy it even more.

but in any case, you've been warned that it's PG13 at least.

stuart little can swim

or maybe what i thought was a sweet little gray mousie was really a rat.

in any case, I saved it from the pool.

hopefully it doesn't repay my kindness by coming in the house. poor thing was so freaked out that it tried to jump out of the skimmer net and ended up back in the pool. i fished the rodent out.

after a few seconds of drying off it seems ok, but now I am too afraid to look in the baskets tonight...

I originally thought it was a really big frog, until I noticed its tail. i guess i am tired.

still it's not as traumatic as my first encounter with one of stuart's kind, back when i was 5. no one ended up bitten or tested for rabies.
